Reception

Welcome to Reception! Our class teachers are Mrs Sellman, Mrs Barton and Mrs Slymn and our teaching assistants are Mrs Jeavons, Miss Lloyd and Mr Sellman.

In Reception, the children have lots of opportunities to learn through play and we provide a range of practical, hands on experiences and activities. We love to learn outdoors and provide as many opportunities for your child to access our wonderful outdoor provision as we can.

Our PE day is Friday and our Forest day is Wednesday. Please send your child in on these days wearing their PE kit/ Forest clothes. We will change your child's reading book on any day throughout the week and we regularly 1:1 read with your child so please ensure they have their reading book and diary in school every day of the week.

Please come and talk to us if there is anything at all you need to discuss, and we will do likewise. The children are always at the heart of all that we do.
