Year 1

Welcome to Year 1

In Year 1, the teachers are Miss Stott, Mrs Meers and Mrs Dillon. Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Preston and Mrs Parkes.

We have lots of fun in Year 1 and our lessons are interactive and exciting. We appreciate that for many children it is a big step moving from Reception to Year 1. However, we can assure you that we all support the children with this transition.

Our PE days are on a Wednesday and a Thursday (however, PE kit needs to be in school for the duration of eac half term).

Please come and talk to us if there is anything at all you need to discuss, and we will do likewise. The children are at the heart of all that we do.
